Installation of the Ivanti Secure Access Client

Important remark: The installation tasks below require elevated admin privileges. If you do not have local admin credentials on your computer, please contact your IT department for assistance.

1. Remove all Pulse Secure components from your device and restart it.

2. Download and install the Pulse Secure Installer Service from https://our.ams-osram.com/dana-cached/sc/PulseSecureInstallerService.msi.
Mac OS users can skip this step and go to the next one.

3. Download and install the Pulse Secure Client Installer: Based on your device specification, install the Pulse Secure Installer.

It is suggested to restart the computer after that.
Ensure this installation is done before your first login.

4. Open https://our.ams-osram.com/bp in your browser and login there with your user name and password, select Access group Business partner (AD).

Remark: Users with access via https://our.osram.net and Access group “Business Partners”, should go to https://our.ams-osram.com and select Access group “Business Partners”.

Download and install the Pulse Secure Application Launcher after sign in.





Run the installation file, and confirm with OK once it is done.

5. To proceed, click on the link as shown below:

6. Next, confirm the popup to start the Application Launcher

7. It automatically runs the Ivanti Secure Access VPN client

8. Check the task tray to verify if it is connected

Alternative approach to connect without the need to login to the web portal

9. Once the Ivanti Secure Access Client is successfully installed on your computer, in most cases you do not have to login to the web portal first, but you can directly connect with ams OSRAM through the client. To do so, just search for it on your Windows, open it, select the connection and provide your login credentials as usual.

Choose the Access group or Realm which you are usually connecting through:

10. A certificate prompt will appear. Select the ams OSRAM BP certificate, which is supposed to be installed on your device, to confirm the authentication.

11. Enter your ams OSRAM credentials. If you need assistance, please contact to your sponsor.

12. Once the correct login information is provided, the connection is established successfully,

13. To verify if the Ivanti Secure Access Client is successfully connected, look for the green triangle in its icon or open it and see if it shows "Connected”.

14. At this point you can start working with the ams OSRAM tools and applications which you have access to. When you are done, open the VPN client and click on the Disconnect button to close the connection.
